3 Crochet Must Haves I Can’t Live Without
If you read Crochet Tools That I Absolutely Love, you’re probably thinking you have all the crochet must haves you need to get started. While you really only need some yarn and a hook to call yourself a crocheter, the more crochet tools you have in your toolkit, the better!
That’s why I’ve put together another crochet must haves tool list, that I absolutely cannot live without. (Trust me, you won’t be able to live without them either!)
1. Clover Small & Large Pom Pom Makers

I’ll have to admit I’m a pom pom gal. They’re a great finishing touch to a variety of items including winter hats, borders on blankets and so much more. You can even use them to make garland or use them as hair on a doll! The possibilities are endless. But if you’ve ever tried making pom poms for your project, you know how frustrating it can be.
Don’t worry, though! I’ve found the secret to making perfect pom poms: Clover Pom Pom Makers! They come in both large and small sizes, and two are included in each package. They’re also really easy to use. Simply open one up and wrap the yarn 8–10 times around it. Then, close it up, cut it, tie it and magic! You have a beautiful pom pom. You’ll never have to struggle making a pom pom ever again!
2. Clover Super Jumbo Tapestry Needle
Who doesn’t love a thick and cozy blanket — especially one that’s made with super bulky yarn? I personally like crocheting blankets with thick yarn, but my normal tapestry needles don’t cut it. This is why I use super jumbo tapestry needles to get the job done. These needles come in a set of two and have large eyes which make it super easy to thread bulky yarn.
They’re also super durable, and don’t split or fray your yarn. They even have bent tips that make it easy to get underneath your stitches! If you’re a crocheter who also loves making bulky blankets, I highly recommend getting these jumbo tapestry needles.
3. Clear Tote Bags
If you’re anything like me, you’ve spent way too much time digging through your project bag to find a specific crochet tool. That’s why I’ve invested in several clear tote bags (also called stadium bags) so I can easily spot the tool I’m looking for just by looking at the bag! The bags that I purchased come in a set of two and are 12” x 12” x 6”. These are the perfect size for six skeins of yarn and my hook case. You’ll never have to waste time looking for a crochet tool ever again!
